Study: Transfr Healthcare Sim Learning Gains Beat Slides

To evaluate the efficacy of VR health sciences content (Temperature, Respirations and Pain simulations) versus written content (slides), Transfr researchers recruited volunteers with no healthcare experience. All participants took pre- and post-tests after completing the VR simulation or studying the written instructions (at their own pace).

In both studies, the VR group showed higher overall average post-test scores and higher average learning gains.
