Highlights from Last Year's XR Futures"

Join us as we tackle the challenges of our evolving world of work and focus on how our organizations and communities can take action to enhance workforce readiness.

Together, we’ll dig into the changes our education and training systems will need to undergo in order to prepare students and job seekers for well-paying careers in the high-growth industries that will see our world into a brighter future.

Get a front-row seat for the future of education and how we can develop more accessible, life-changing opportunities for all.

During this exciting, one-day in-person customer event, we’ll gather, connect, and learn from each other so we can move from “This is the way we’ve always done things…” to “This is what we can do when we all work together.”

Airport

New York City is easily accessible via various transportation options, making your arrival convenient and seamless. Here are the primary ways to reach the city:

Air Travel: Three major airports serve the New York metropolitan area—John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Each airport offers a range of domestic and international flights. Airports to Civic Hall: JFK (16.5m), LGA (9.6miles), EWR (15.9miles)

Train: Amtrak services New York’s Penn Station, providing connections from various cities across the country. Additionally, regional train services like Metro-North and Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) connect surrounding areas.

Bus: Numerous bus companies operate services to and from New York City, offering affordable travel options from various locations.

Car: If you prefer to drive, New York City is accessible via several major highways. Be mindful of parking options, as street parking can be limited and costly.

This year, the event will be held exclusively in person. If you’re unable to attend, we look forward to sharing post-event updates, including blogs and videos, to keep you informed about all the highlights.

As part of the Transfr family, we’re excited to offer our customers a unique opportunity for networking and professional growth, with registration fully complimentary in 2024. If you have registered but are no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you notify us at [email protected]. This will help us manage attendance and ensure a great experience for all participants

We recommend a business casual dress code, but we encourage everyone to dress as they feel comfortable. In October, New York experiences mild and pleasant weather, with average temperatures ranging from about 51.8°F (11°C) at night to around 63.3°F (17°C) during the day, so we do suggest that you bring a jacket.

Yes, XR Futures is designed to be accessible to all attendees. We strive to accommodate individuals with diverse needs and provide necessary services (such as hearing loops, dietary requirements, wheelchair-friendly access and bathrooms) to ensure everyone can participate fully. If you have specific requirements or need assistance, please reach out to us in advance at [email protected], and we will be happy to help.

The safety and well-being of our attendees are our top priorities. We have implemented several measures to ensure a safe environment for everyone at the event. Hand sanitizing stations will be available at key locations and sanitization of high-touch surfaces will be regularly cleaned throughout the event. Masks are optional at our event. We respect individual preferences and encourage attendees to make choices that best suit their comfort levels. Masks will be available at the registration desk for those who wish to wear them.

Yes, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance for the event. This certificate will serve as recognition of your participation and can be a valuable addition to your professional development documentation.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Transfr’s events team: [email protected]
