Table of Contents

Workforce education is about advancement. Newly released platform updates strengthen comprehensive classroom-to-career pathways—from enhanced career exploration tools to structured training programs that rapidly prepare job seekers for employment. These enhancements empower learners to move confidently toward meaningful career opportunities.

Enhanced Career Exploration Builds Informed Decision-Making

Financial Literacy Integration Powers Career-Connected Learning

Learners exploring career options now have access to powerful financial planning tools that help them understand the real-world implications of their choices. Learners can develop monthly budgets for their chosen careers, set meaningful financial goals, and build essential knowledge about personal finance—all within the context of the careers that interest them most.

This standards-aligned content bridges the gap between career education and financial readiness, helping students to make informed decisions about their future pathways. Through interactive monthly budgeting games and goal-setting exercises, learners can compare up to three careers side-by-side, understanding not just what different roles involve, but how they translate to real economic opportunities.

More Careers To Match and Experience

Transfr Trek’s mobile experience now enables learners to discover detailed career profiles, salary data, education requirements, and up-to-date information on over 150 careers, like recent additions Firefighter, Soil and Plant Scientist, and Web Developer. They can also engage with over 50 interactive VR simulations to experience a day-in-the-life of jobs that align with their interests and discover potential career pathways.

Past Pathways Enable Deeper Career Conversations

New functionality in Transfr Trek’s mobile experience preserves every career exploration journey a learner completes. Learners and counselors can now view historical pathway data, creating richer conversations about evolving interests and supporting ongoing career planning guidance.

Introducing Transfr Train: Comprehensive Career Preparation and Training

We’re excited to announce the evolution of our Virtual Training Facility into Transfr Train—a comprehensive, multimodal career training solution that combines immersive VR simulations with structured programs and curriculum resources. This transformation reflects our commitment to providing complete learning ecosystems that advance learners confidently toward employment.

Fundamental Skills Program Sparks Trade Interest

Our new Fundamental Skills program is bridge from career exploration into a pathway in the trades.  The program covers 70 simulations across six essential topics: workplace safety, math and measurement, material handling, hand tools, power tools, and electrical fundamentals.

Learners achieve digital badges as they complete each topic, keeping them motivated while building new skills.  Instructors and educators can assign this program by following these steps:

  1. Log in and create a new classroom from the Classrooms page.
  2. Select “Fundamental Skills” from the dropdown menu
  3. Add learners to the classroom and select “Create”

When learners log in online, they will see the program assigned to them with the sims they need to complete.

Curriculum Planning Resources Support Seamless Integration

Our new curriculum planning resource features over 350 activities and lessons mapped to ACTE clusters, including ready-made lesson plans, materials lists, and out-of-headset activities. These resources will help support integrating training simulations from Transfr into an existing program and can be found under a new “Curriculum Resources” tab in the navigation menu.

Pre-Employment Programs for Rapid Career Preparation

Our new Pre-Employment Programs provide structured, 20-hour pathways that build employer-recognized competencies for adult learners and job seekers.

Pre-Employment programs combine engaging VR experiences with e-learning activities and assessments, allowing participants to build foundational skills while earning microcredentials and a certificate of completion.

The programs do not require subject matter experts to deliver instruction and can be flexible to your organization’s available training schedules.

Two programs, Construction Laborer and Manufacturing Industrial Maintenance Technician roles, are available today for organizations with a Manufacturing & Construction or All Access license.
