In 2023, Transfr conducted a study to determine efficacy of VR diesel sims vs other delivery methods. Groups used VR or a webpage (with videos selected by researchers) to learn Diesel Engine Analysis tasks. The VR group showed significantly better learning gains than the webpage group.
